Federal defense attorneys that are appointed are usually top notch, especially if it’s a high profile case.

My guess is Chauvin worked a plea deal for consecutive time, with credit for time served from when federal charges were first filed.

Getting him into a federal prison before his state time is through is not the usual course of action. Unless some exception is made, he’ll have to serve his state time in state prison first, and if there’s any federal time left to serve, then he’ll get moved into the Bureau of Prisons.

prosecution's use of force expect just said the evidence he reviewed makes him believe Potter intended to use the taser and not a gun

defense still has to hammer home this was a mistake that was caused by the actions of the deceased and not a conscious decision by the defendant

here we go... they used the wrong type of bullet... no matter what bullet the officer used
