You were trying to link Jewish immigration to the rise of Marxism in Latin America, and they're not linked. Spain colonized Latin America, and ended up being one of the most socialistic western European countries there is, after they threw out most of the Jews. The Catholic Church is probably a much larger influence on pushing Latin America towards communism in history, and corruption (why is corruption part of most of the Latin DNA?) greased the skids. The simplest answers are usually the most correct.
Like most Latin American countries, they'll vote for whomever promises them the most shite.
