Trump colluded with Russia and is a white supremacist who beats his wife and wants to throw the gays off of tall buildings in NYC, as is everyone who voted for him.

“Red wave” is relative. Republicans can win Senate seats but can only make limited gains in the House as of now due to the redistricting in Pennsylvania that skews toward the Dems.
The big battleground will be in the redistricting for 2022 unless the national Dems totally collapse before then.
The important things will be winning the 2020 election and winning more at the local level to help ensure control of the redistricting process.

Dude it’s a primary and the Dems had a lot more reps running which is why their numbers were so low individually. Once the general takes place all of those Dems will coalesce around the nominee. So the appearance of the Rs gaining more votes is just a facade.
You should look at those results and add up the rep and dem votes. You wont like what you see....repubs doing well

What? First term midterms are exactly when it occurs
Been stating this since the election. People were talking too much smack. Obama was obliterated. Clinton was obliterated and the only reason Bush wasn't, was folks don't like change in the middle of a real crisis.
The winners always get complacent and the losers get motivated. I think the non-stop media bashing blitz has actually helped Trump. It has kept Republicans motivated.
There could still be a blue wave but the scenario the media has pushed about California sure didn't materialize last night.

The media have lost their minds and don’t pretend to be objective any more.

Obstruct Trump.

For the CA house districts, the primaries renominated incumbents for races in the fall. This isn't a huge win by any means, nor symbolic of a red wave.
Tester is in for a pretty tough race in the fall.

I don't know why anyone would think a "blue wave" is/was coming.
It takes longer than 2 years for these shifts back and forth to occur.
Also, in terms of the Senate, it is a very disadvantageous map for the democrats.

I was talking in more complete shifts, not just midterms.
I thought that was obvious. Guess not.

Fail, bitch.
Look at midterm results following a close presidential election and get back to us.

None of the districts you posted are being targeted by Dems. The 7 they are trying to flip are 10,21,25,39,45,48,49, and Democrats have sealed a spot in everyone of these for November. Check out the vote totals in these districts and get back to me.
