The party is already divided, and it isnt because of Trump. You have people like Murkowski, Romney, and Collins who are 90% Democrats. In the House its Cheney, Kinzinger, etc. Exposing people like this and getting them primaried is important work that Trump is uniquely positioned to do. Having majorities in congress means nothing if your deciding votes are wolves in sheep's clothing who wont make the hard decisions.

I also believe that another Trump term is critical for DeSantis's success in 2028. DC in 2024 will be a snake pit, festering with unscrupulous dem holdovers who will eagerly break the law to destroy BDR. We saw this in 2016, and these people will consume DeSantis before he ever gets his legs under him. Let Trump flush them out for 4 years as he did before, restore some integrity in the IC, gut the DOJ, start to get the economy moving in the right direction, and give BDR a fighting chance.

Exactly. Trump has legit nothing to lose if he challenges Gavin Newsome or Kamala or whatever leftist globalist robot that the WEF selects to be the token Democrat In the general or Mike Pence or whoever the WEF decides is the acceptable Republican.

Ron Desantis does not have the wealth or real estate to literally survive if he gets the nomination. Whatever happens - Ron will be castigated as a racist insurrectionist white nationalist. And his hands would be tied if he actually beat the cheat and won.

Donald Trump has already faced an anal probe of a corruption audit and the best they can do is that he filed lawsuits and made a speech. Those are not crimes. Even when the Uniparty disagrees.

Desantis would face untold the same. And while he’s not going to come back as corrupt in some way. His reputation would be ruined on a national scale and he would be banned from society bc of something he said to stupid fricking Kamala when she couldn’t answer a question in a debate. Unlike Trump- he can’t go back to His golf course and retire.

We know what we’re getting with Trump. And there is a plan to go scorched earth on the Deep State. Desantis doesn’t have that kind of plan or resources.

Trump clears the path for Desantis to be the best President since Washington

All those accomplishments, if you had every libtard read them, would make no difference- all you will hear is the same, Trump is mean, racist, homophobic, anti-woman, liar etc. You simply can't reason with brainwashed idiots...

This is a lousy take....a Trump term in 2024 will assuredly invite a backlash and create the momentum for a Democrat win in 2028. DeSantis will be out of office for 2 years by that point and that gives the Dems plenty of time to position a better candidate.

Trump needs to bow out and endorse DeSantis after the mid-terms.
