Trump is pretty random and all over the place a good chunk of the time. I'm my experience, his fans just excuse it. Maybe you're more principled than that.

1. In your opinion, what is it about Biden's platform/policies that makes him a viable candidate?
For me, a lot of it has to do with his views on healthcare, our standing in the world, uniting our country by representing everyone rather than only those who vote for him.

2. Do democratic voters generally care about Biden's mental state?
I know I do. I would think most do to a degree. Most Biden supporters have serious concerns about Trump's mental state as well so that would be taken into account. I also think the dementia thing is overblown as Biden has been a gaffe machine his entire career.

3. On a scale of 1-10, how confident are you that Joe Biden will the 2020 Presidential Election? Provide justification if you want to.
How confident that he will win? I'm at like a 4/10.

Mickey...seems like you are voting for Vice President...wonder why?
Posted on 8/3/20 at 3:06 pm to Crimsonians
not a democrat
there is no real reason not to debate
very few people are going to change their mind about voting for Biden because they aren't actually voting FOR him, they're voting against Trump
Therefore, it doesn't matter what he does leading up to the election.
He could be a stuffed animal and nothing would change.
Which is pretty much the same way Trump fans feel about their guy.

Maybe Biden can get the rules changed to allow the Puppeteer to come on stage with him.

This is seems as if it's meant to be snarky, but I have no idea what you are implying of who Mickey is. What are you trying to ask me?

A little, but not enough to actually change my vote.
Nothing like voting for someone who isn't capable of handling a political debate.
This is the left.

It's definitely his best shot.

Mickey is gay. He'd be an outcast among the gays if he voted for Trump.
In a nutshell, that's what it is.

You honestly have little/no concern that Biden is headlong into dementia?

No shite. That’s not the question but a nice deflection.

Imagine a president who knows the only way to win is to hide.

What would it change? He has absolutely nothing to gain.
Really, is there anything about Trump that we don't know?
Anything that Biden or Trump could say or do that would change anyone's mind?
It's a divisive and dug in world we live in right now.

I do not see a message of unity from any Democrat. It is all identity politics and putting everyone into small groups.
Divide and conquer. That’s the Dem platform

I know you want to think that's what it is, but it's not. I have maybe 2-3 close friends who are gay so I'm not worried about them not liking me. Before Trump, I always voted Republican. I've always disagreed with most gays regarding gay-related issues.

Please give any reason why Biden shouldn't be able to participate in a debate with no audience.
If he (Democrats) refuses to debate, does that make you think about your vote?
I suspect internal polling indicates undecided voters are a non factor in this election so there is only down side to wrestling with a hog. I don't think there are many people going to be swayed in a debate in this election because the choice is clear...more Trump or no Trump....Trump ain't winning over any more people and neither is Biden...the election may as well be held today. This ain't politics as usual....minds are made up and nothing is going to change them except a poor debate performance....why take the risk?
General Election Debates for president started in 1960 between Kennedy and Nixon....60 years ago....from 1968 until 2016 a president elect released their personal income tax returns to public scrutiny...48 years....we are seeing all sorts of relatively new "norms" fall by the wayside in presidential politics....

So I'm seeing that Democrats are fine with a possible dementia President who hides during an election.
Didn't they just try to criticize Trump for hiding in a bunker for riots?
You prefer a guy afraid of his shadow.
