Re-reading my link, the population of the District of Columbia is not included in the apportionment. I wasn't aware of this.

It's really more simple and human than that.
Fat white girls, Homely white girls, and gay dudes , like illegals coming in ,because it increases their chances of hooking up with someone...anyone.

Except that Texas and other red states have almost as many illegal immigrants as California. Unless there are enough immigrants to turn a state from red to blue, I don't think the simple reallocation of electoral votes would benefit Democrats on balance. California might get 1 more vote, but so would Texas, Florida, etc.

If Trump and his baws can craft a comprehensive immigration bill that throws the legal Hispanic/Latino population a bone, that builds support for Trump from Hispanics/Latinos and builds the wall to satisfy his base supporters the Prog/Dims are done for awhile.

I guess cruiser is just going to ignore the immigration bill of Sen D. Feinstein brought before the Senate requiring border agents not to detain illegals within 100 miles of the border. Oh BTW the other 48 of her democratic allies voted in the affirmative as well.

I knew plenty of Border Patrol agents during Obama's administration and they all said they had their hands tied behind their backs by new dept policies dictated from the top. It wasn't an open borders policy but it was damn close.

Maybe you should try again this would not be about other large states swapping 1 or two congressional seats it would be about the smaller flyover states losing 1 or more of their congressman and electoral college votes.
Why do you think most of the sanctuary cities are in the liberal cities of blue states. because there are estimates of somewhere between 15-40 million illegals which equates to approximately 5-12% of our population.
If the result of this census results in small states losing 10-12 electoral votes minimum to maybe as many as 20 to the left and right coast it would be a disaster for team red.
