It's common for people who think someone is out to get them to emphasize that they aren't suicidal to get out in front of a hit that makes it look like suicide. Perhaps she is trying to tell us that her prognosis is good so that she doesn't die as a political stunt with a representative coming out saying it was due to her cancer.

I will say this, at her age, her 4th bout with cancer.... I don't know what cancer specifically she has or how agressive, but if it's going to take her I hope it is swift and painless for her.
Despite what I think about her personally, I couldn't imagine having to fight through cancer a 4th time, especially at her age.
