Gut feeling leans toward Paxton running away with this, but Cornyn is a career politician and knows the game. He's outraised Paxton by 2:1 or 3:` ratio and is a well known guy in Texas.

What is your take on why Trump didn't go to bat for either of them? Just waiting to see who makes it out of the run off?

One or the other is going to win.

He has to work with the winner.

I would rather have a philanderer (Paxton) than the two faced piece of shite political opportunist Cornyn.

I read earlier this week that C+cksucker Cassidy spent over $13 million, Letlow spent $3-5 million and Fleming spent just under $1 million during the primary.

When you f*ck over the people who voted for you for six f*cking years, it doesn’t matter how much money you raise.

what is really disgusting is that they didn’t “raise” all that cash - much of it came from the national Republican Party - money that should have been spent in Virginia (which worked out despite the pathetic effort from our side) and other things that actually matter

How do you define “worked out”? Virginia is giving us a taste of how a Democrat presidency, house and senate would operate if it ever happens.

Well the cheating count got smacked down in defeat, that constitutes "working out"

What? You serious?

It “worked out” in that they were unable to implement their unfair districts because of court decisions

But the RNC should have damn sure spent money advertising and paying poll watchers there, instead of on Cassidy or Cornyn

Money won’t be a big determining factor in this race IMO. Paxton has barely spent much and is still favored to win outright if the votes from Hunt come over.

Trump realizes he has to play ball somewhat with the Senate RINOs/GOPe and Thune to get any legislation passed.

Man. The swamp really wanted Cassidy to win. They wanted that voter rebuke of Trump so badly.
