So you think the government should force people to get vaccinations? So they can inject your kid with anything they want and your ok with it ? How do you think they clean up the vaccination if they drop them on the floor ?

If the vaccinations work then your family can get them and not have to worry about anything.

Let's just say multitudes of parents decide they want to take the "risk" and kids are sent to school with others who came to the country illegally and were never vaccinated in their home countries (yes, believe it or not that happens!)

Don't you think it's just a little bit of a risk for a health crisis?

BTW,who exactly is gonna pick up the bill for uninsured who contract measles, chicken pox, diphtheria etc?

I've never understood why people are so afraid of freedom and choice?

Let's say Polio,Diphtheria,Whopping Couph,Chicken Pox start to make a raging comeback because of toxic mix of the anti Vax lunatics and undocumented illegals.

Who exactly is footing the bill when the shite hits the fan?

Sure but how come Rand is voting against the national emergency resolution to do so?

I'm curious. Was it government policy that encouraged Dr.s into a "zero pain" practice that contributed to the opioid epidemic.
We understand that politicians are always looking out for the public good.

What about when the government wants to force your 5 year old to get vaccinated for hpv which is an std

There is no perceivable reason to prevent access to schools for a vaccine related to an STD. This is not a similar situation.

You can favor vaccines and still believe the government shouldn't force those who don't to vaccinate their children. This is a limited government position.

Even if your not vaccinating leads to negative consequences for others?

My freedom? Lots of folks health and freedom would compromised if this toxic mix continues.

Did you see what Sen Cassidy said about "herd immunity"?

quote:

He and other witnesses pointed out that communities become vulnerable to preventable infections when not enough people have been vaccinated, a concept known as herd immunity.

So vaccinated and responsible people could also be effected as well.KInda impacts their freedom as well, doesn't it?

I'm vaccinated and so are my children, but I do believe that the Government being able to force citizens to do something "for their own good" is a dangerous precedent to set...

What about for our own good?

Did they get to Rand now? This and immigration..It is truly sad. I knew the GOPe were always waiting in silence after watching them redistrict and take-out their own-Allen West. Michelle Bachmann was ran out and she was called a nut for something we are watching happening in our govt now.

The GOPe attacked the tea party with the help of McCain and they loathe the HFC. I still don't trust Graham.

Frick the GOPe. Get them all out let's primary them.

This is an emergency. Obama gave Iran billions in cash and gold and that was peachy...

It is insane.

Nice deflection.

Yea you're right people were much better immune to measles,Polio, chicken pox, whooping cough before vaccinations started.

We can both play these silly little games.

Couldn't take my 3 year old son to our ultrasound appointment to see the new baby kicking around because of a measles outbreak, hospital not allowing any minors who don't have an appointment themselves into the hospital whether they are vaccinated or not. I live in Washington state, we seemingly have a 19th century disease outbreak every year because of fricking retards

The government knows we are going to face a new wave of diseases via the unchecked illegal immigration at the border that they are letting in. They are just preparing us for the inevitable.

No. Modern medicine is much better at treating all these issues than they were 50 years ago. Kids aren't dying and getting brain damage from this stuff anymore.
