I’d say the net benefits for tariffs has been quite easily ascertained from Bessent and Lutnick. I have posted a few long discussions with them both. I suggest you seek them out. A failure to adhere to this new policy is both short sighted and selfish. Your kids and grandkids will be happy that you have chosen an alternate path to societal destruction. Short term pain for long term gain. You’ll make it through if you have the stomach to bare.
