Tell us what you want to cut further that won’t crash the economy and severely effect a large group? Everything that can be cut has been identified outside the major funded programs. Unless you want to severely cut military which will then hurt the military and not help with volunteer service. Cut VA? Again who will serve? Cut Medicare/medicaid? How much will that affect ppl and tank the economy. Plus riots. Cut social security? Say frick it to our elders?

Evidently you. The only things included in the BBB is what could be voted on by the Senate per their RULES.

Other cuts are coming via rescission.

Some are putting way too much faith in the recission process. Trusting DC to make significant cuts is a fools errand.

While I agree with Rand here, he is often the one that grinds my gears. he invokes his principles, especially when he knows that failing to support his party

The deficit fell 5 of the 8 years Obama was in office

Exactly. Rand Paul is advocating for passing nothing.

Higher taxes and no growth. He also created more social programs which added debt later. Do you want higher taxes right now?

People without principles do not have a need for principles congressmen

Nobody is saying that yet you act like the whole deficit is trumps.

I’m not a fan of the too big bill, but;
Between day Biden sworn in and Trump sworn in , USA debt grew $8.4 trillion over his 4yrs
CBO says Trump budget will add $2.4 trillion over next 10yrs
Watching Democrats scream in rage about that possible increase just downright humorous

The retards on this board, jesus christ. Also fyi the debt is 36t, not 30.
No, dipshit. He said 1 trillion seconds is 30,000 BC. So our govt makes 3.5T per year.
3.5
x30,000 years
= 105,000 years ago
I made no comment on 3.5T being more than 30T. I was making a joke on how much the govt gets in revenue. I don't know what the hell your dumbass is even talking about. Tell me where I even mention 30T. Go ahead.. I didn't? Now shut up, RETARD.
And I never said the debt was 30T either, RETARD.

So he's voting against tax cuts and cuts to medicaid in the Biden budget. Got it.
In the last thread, everyone said trump has no say in BBB and its congress’s job to put up a better bill.
Every single congressman who has opposed the bill has been trashed by maga lol

Rand Paul is a dumb.
We can print unlimited money and don't have to pay the debt.

The 2.4 trillions deficit over 10years is net increase of debt on current deficit level. If include interest, it would be 3 trillions.
The deficit of 2024 fiscal year is 1.8 trillions.
