Word gets out.

As noted, people have lied about me in the past. They were quickly called out and dismissed as liars by my friends.

I do get your point though. If you don’t know…then you don’t know.

Fortunately for me, my personal experiences have informed my current opinion.

I can see it in every young black person I interact with. The hatred in their eyes is alarming.

AKA Black parents sit down and STFU. We will tell you when you can speak.

Fair point.

Sadly, I do honestly think you'd still be surprised to hear their views of white people when you aren't around.

That said, the problem I've observed is less prevalent black people old enough to have been your friend for 50 years assuming you didn't start the friendship as babies.

I think the great divider in chief Obama made things much worse. He antagonized relations every time he got a chance. I remember his rhetoric about police being pretty inflammatory. I partially blame what happened in Dallas and Baton Rouge on him.

1st grade in my case, but you are correct, my situation isn’t the norm, and I realize that.

As Roger noted, growing up being taught to view people based on their character, and not the color of their skin, certainly was a major factor in how we all feel about one another.

On a final note, where I grew up was a small city. There was lots of interaction, which only reinforced our relationships…almost universally in a good way. I’m lucky in that regard.

I live in one of the most diverse areas of the entire planet and that’s not the case. In fact, I can confidently say I have more in common with minorities than I do with white leftists that live in Lilly white areas while calling me racist.

The only people promoting this are leftists. Period.

Ya know. There's some truth here. Mid 30's to 40s white suburban women have gone completely off the rails. And, the generation behind them doesn't appear to be improving. The self loathing in this group is just amazing.

Get off the internet and go anywhere. Race relations are fine.

To believe this requires you to ignore completely the racial division that is pushed by the media, and the ramifications of this division that has taken place in the city streets of America.

No question. Obama was supposed to be “post racial” but his administration race baited endlessly

Now, we have an entire cottage industry of CRT and DEI academics, corporate stooges, and pundits pumping constant reverse racist concepts as if they are the solution to discrimination.

Just cause you washed some black ladies feet at the fellowship doesn’t mean things are fine.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve experienced professional shunning 20 years ago that spurred from a false accusation of racism from a black man that wanted his friend to have my job. Every black coworker turned on me and refused to defend me. Learned a big lesson there, but again, this was politically motivated. All of it.

Things like that happen when you push back against leftist narratives on segregation and unity.

Here's a lesson I've observed.

In more than 30 years in the workforce, I have never, not once, seen a poor worker who was black NOT claim race was involved when they were counseled upon their substandard performance. Not once. Moreover, in general, their peers 100% support their claims or, just shut up. It's like their all on the same "team" so, they just roll with it.

We are simply going through what happened in Rhodesia and what is now happening in South Africa - one group being told they are ‘bad’ and ‘evil’ and another group wanting things given to them because of past events or actions.

This has happened everywhere especially in communist/socialist revolutions. China, Russia, Cuba, Nazi Germany, etc. They vilify an oppressor group and it normally doesn’t end well for that group.
