most of us are ok with Ron D in 28 and 32.
So if Ron is the answer, then his time is now. It would be idiotic to go with Trump if DeSantis is the “next in line.”
Ron will win, no excuse, and likely get us 8 years of conservative wins.
Trump is a coin flip shot at best to win, and if Trump does win, that gives Dems the likely advantage for ‘28.

With any luck, he'll call for an ACTUAL insurrection to overthrow the government.

Then Ron isn’t the answer. Never mind. If he’s got such a short shelf life, then that’s a problem.

I just want to see it. It would be the blue ball of the century to have all this happen over 8 years and not have this main event go down.

You’ll be the first to post about it, no doubt.

Thats the nature of Presidential politics and Trump in particular. It takes a truly special politician to get two terms then still have the country wanting another term from their party.

I knew you were waiting for this lol. You waited 3 pages for ol Ron to come up. I was kinda hoping it would go on longer.

You mean I’ve been waiting on someone to answer the question I asked? What a profound insight!

DeSantis said he would clean house at the FBI, so that’s not a “Only Trump will do it” thing, but ok
Straight up said Wray is gone day 1, without hesitation, on national television
He actually laid out his plan to clean house at the FBI and CIA, unlike Trump thus far. I'd like to hear Trump's plan in any sort of detail as well

Oh no no. The answer to the OP was Ron. Everything else has met resistance.
I'm going for an oldie but goodie. If Ron Paul is still kicking and podcasting, I'd like to see him run.
Edit: Not that it matters, but Im not downvoting

3 pages in and the only name of who we should look to in ‘28 other than DeSantis is Josh Hawley.

By “everything else has met resistance” you mean me laughing at the Josh Hawley suggestion?

He won't have to worry about reelection so he'll probably lurch left to please Maggie Haberman. Those people hate him but he loves them for some reason.

That's a ridiculous hypothetical. There could be any number of people, probably dozens I could name off the top of my head, who would potentially be vying for a 2028 nomination if Trump wins in '24. And probably quite a few we aren't even aware of right now.

That would be everything.

It's instructive that only-Trumpers don't consider this possibility, that w/o reelection concerns he naturally goes back to his center-left roots.
