You took that 180* off mark.
Russian plans were for a very quick victory.

That was plan A from Belarus. Once they moved to Plan B left Belarus came from the Russian side the attrition war started. A slow grind. But yes there was a lot of western propaganda that was saying Russia was trying to win it fast while they were also admitting it was a war of attrition. The west loves to talk out of both sides of it mouth at once. "Russia is weak!"... "If we dont stop Russia now they will roll across all of Europe!". Its amazing how many people fall for this weak propaganda and repeat it on here like simpletons.

Foolish.

I think North Korea is weak.

And I think could invade and take South Korea.

They would just not have to give a damn about long term stuff, not give a damn about the health of their soldiers, not give a damn about international organizations like the UN just do it.

Doesn't mean they are not weak.

If that happens, the oligarchs could either flee and forfeit those assets to the US, or they can stay and pretend to sacrifice for the common good.

If it came to that the US would be cutting deals with those guys left and right.

But wait, I was told Trump and Putin were best buds. Why isn’t Trump coming to his aid?

One of the major points of this war was to slowly bleed Russia dry. Hopefully this is true

This has always been the strategy with them. It’s how Reagan toppled the Soviets. Got them into an arms race they couldn’t afford and let the faults of communism implode them

They simply don’t have the economy to be a world military power. They have nukes, without that they’re pretty shitty militarily. China is the only one who can afford to be a military power besides us

Kind of a nothing response to my posts. Come back with a lot more or dont come back. I know its a troll reponse where you say "are you okay" or "are you mad", i find those techniques to be rather lame. Try them elsewhere.

Man wtf are you talking about? Of course they were trying to win the war fast. The whole point of the northern front was to capture Kiev and decapitate Ukraine’s government. They failed spectacularly. THEN it turned into a war of attrition because the Russian army is garbage water. Not the Ukraine is all that great either but still.

You have no clue what you are talking about. You sound like a small child.

Trained by Nato...and at this point of the war, way better than Nato.

No they’re not. They have the advantage in drone tactics but their regular infantry don’t get enough training time before getting to the fight. Their casualty rate is so high that not enough combat experience even stays in the ranks.

Combat experience is invaluable but it doesn’t replace good training and discipline. Iraq was one of the largest and most combat armies in the world in 1991 and they got steam rolled in about 3 days by an army that had almost zero actual combat experience but was the best trained in the world.

I actually referenced a Russian attack outside the capital in the first moments of the war that shows Russian intentions lol

Their Azov battalion is one of the best in the world. But it just serves as the old guard now. It keeps the conscripts at literal gun point in the front lines. The Azov and elite units of the army got destroyed in the first few years of the war attacking Russia. Now all they can do is hold the line and die. But its still better than the western PMCs who went there, they fled once they realized what it meant to fight a war where the artillery and airforce can actually hit back.
