Federalism you arse. If he did something you'd be the first to call him a Tyrant. Letting the Constitution guide his moves and waiting for the Mayor's and Gov's to act, well he is not doing anything.

You probably blame W for the NOLA fiasco with Katrina too.
Compare Houston to NOLA and get back with us concerning local and state actions being Primary response.

I am about as hardcore a Catholic as you will find. But I am not a peasant. You are. Being a peasant isn’t about financial situation. What does this look more like 1. The American revolution led by enlightened intellectuals, or 2. The French Revolution/Soviet revolution/Chinese revolution? The answer is 2. Even the educated people in those revolutions were trapped with the mindset of peasants. Hopefully with time you will cease to be such a morally and intellectually weak person and won’t be moved to violence by a statue of a guy who turned to dirt before my grandmother was born.

But I doubt it.

I been knowing who Albert Pike is for years. I worked my entire life thru labor craft unions. I am not a fan of the Masons. Trust me, I know who Albert Pike is. Everyday in my union, the Masons were a factor. I have nothing against them, but I never attempted to join them because I did not like the way they operated. And Albert Pike is not exactly a shining star when it comes to character or actions.

How far back are we allowed to go for our Justice? Or is it only limited Justice for Political gain?

Arlington monuments are fricking off limits. That is a federal graveyard and they would not let anything happen to anything in there.

Who is going to stop them?

I'd guess there is security provided by the military at Arlington.

Just guessing.

The Romans used slave labor to build the coliseum. Then they massacred slaves and Christians in it. Would you tear it down to assuage the deep emotional pain the ancient relic causes you? I would advise you not to waste your time, as destroying everything that causes you to blubber like an infant is likely a task no man could hope to complete in a lifetime. And if no man could do it I would imagine a man baby such as yourself would have no chance at all.

Our military has been told to stand down in regards to the protestors.

This quote is so lacking in understanding, reading comprehension, and critical thought that I will let it stand on its own.

Life lesson: Getting rid of those statues will not change the fact that you leftists are losers. Guess what, the problems in the black community will still be there tomorrow. But I guess that old Rev Al and all of those democrats that you elect in these shithole, crime invested cities will solve your problems.

Not that I have heard. The army has not been called out, which is very different.

It appears Arlington is under the Dept of the Army, making it a military installation of sorts. I'm confident no statues will be defaced nor dismantled at Arlington.

The Office of Army Cemeteries (OAC), consisting of Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia and Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Home National Cemetery in Washington, D.C., is under the jurisdiction of the Department of the Army. The secretary of the Army consolidated authorities and created the executive director position to effectively and efficiently develop, operate, manage and administer the program.

I will help you then.

His quote to a conflicted gay youth...

quote:

Your problem is not at all an uncommon one. However, it does require careful attention. The type of feeling that you have toward boys is probably not an innate tendency, but something that has been culturally acquired. Your reasons for adopting this habit have now been consciously suppressed or unconsciously repressed. Therefore, it is necessary to deal with this problem by getting back to some of the experiences and circumstances that lead to the habit. In order to do this I would suggest that you see a good psychiatrist who can assist you in bringing to the forefront of conscience all of those experiences and circumstances that lead to the habit. You are already on the right road toward a solution, since you honestly recognize the problem and have a desire to solve it.

Gay is just a bad habit. Who knew.

That doesn’t include being a supposed womanizer whom allegedly was privy to a rape.

Tear it down?
