The Palisades fire is exactly nine miles from the driveway of my childhood home. That whole area from Long Beach to Santa Monica is my old stomping grounds.
I miss the climate and the ocean, but nothing else. It's surreal watching it burn every day on television.

She sounds like one of them "best of the best" legal immigrants. Leave her alone racists.

Here's the sad destruction in Pacific Palisades.
Why were so many trees spared? [Genuine question: not suggesting anything...yet.]

We need to get her take on if tranny kids not committing suicide was more important than her home. If she is still defending "her party" she hasn't learned hard enough yet.

Sara Foster forgot to mention all the good firefighters who were fired for not wanting to take the covid vaccine

I too have found it interesting that the houses seem far more flammable than the trees.
What kind of trees are they? I know some are somewhat fire resistant.

Lots of star wars fans going to be in mourning thinking about all the rare nerd memorabilia Hamill may have lost.

Gawd I hope some goes for it. I would love nothing more than to see the AP go to hell for good.

Could care less about these celebs losing their home. They can afford to rebuild. I feel terrible for people that have no home, possibly not enough insurance if any at all after the providers have left the state.
Now they have to rebuild and with the new building requirements on new housing, permitting, and the utter bureacracy of the state in getting permits, this is going to be a hard long road for these people.
I hope there is a class action lawsuit agains the state for negligence. Insurers know there is mismanagement and see it year after year in lack of forest management, water supply etc. Why would they hang around? ALso Kudlow said that the state prohibits them from charging what needs to be charged and is regulated. So insurers flee and leave people without insurance.

Looks like palm trees are around, so those are when healthy.
The Dr Seuss trees probably are too. Just don't know if those are plentiful there like down in the San Diego area.
