It's not being discussed tonight, did you not watch the live stream when they said they would discuss it at another time

I know it isn't coming up today, but I find it hard to believe that they won't try to get it out before the session ends.

SB 116 remains the one that makes the most logical sense culturally and geographically. Except I think it makes more sense if there was a way to put St Mary/ Terrebonne with the rest of Acadian / Cajun parishes, move calcasieu so that it’s with the rest of west east Texas, put Pointe Coupee and the Felicianas with EBR, and St Helena eastward with St Tamm.

You must be part coonass. Welsh people always considered Iowa the line. .

The agenda for tomorrow is already set and they don’t meet again until next week, which only leaves 11 days until the session ends. And why would they reopen this shite show? You’re not paying attention if you don’t realize that SB116 is off the table.

They're still discussing Price's bill for a 4-2 and it's been over two hours. There was no way they were going to get through all three of Morris' bills tonight. You can stop the sky screaming now. The 5-2 will come up and they'll adjourn for the day

They literally push through bills in one hour on the final day of session. Believe me if they want to get a bill through they have the means to do it.

This must be your first time watching the state legislation work

They’ve already said they’re hearing both bills tonight. And they never said they were going to hear the other two. And why in the world would they reopen this clown show for another round - if the other bills were going to be heard they would be tomorrow.

Not sky screaming, they have told you what they’re going to do.

I’m going to retract my earlier prediction that the committee was going to send both bills to the floor. These speakers are just pushing the committee members to end this stupidity.

I do expect Morris to bring amendments to his bill - and that map is going to be what comes out the back end of this process.
