Other countries are reconsidering their relationship with us. If we become isolationists we'll become increasingly irrelevant on the global scene. This has potentially long term negative consequences. Trump is taking a massive gamble with the future of the country. Whatever good intentions he has aren't anywhere near being guaranteed to be actual outcomes.
