Some people are sophisticated enough to see brilliant social parody even when it's delivered via crude bathroom humor. South Park doesn't always hit it out of the park but they've had many, many moments of insightful genius. But if you're unable to see it, just watch something else.

I'm all for making fun of Trump and them having the right to do that, but I'm curious how much did they shite on Biden? Was there any episodes of Hunter Biden smoking crack or Kamala Harris word salad?

It's not the same when the jokes write themselves.

“Sophisticated enough “ to understand the humor, while watching cartoons? That seems to be either an oxymoron or a moron on Oxy

South Park is brilliant. You're the one too simple to see it.

I’m not the grown adult trying to rationalize the idea of watching a cartoon for entertainment

They went pretty hard on Hillary. They had maybe an episode or two with Obama, but nothing critical of him. They've lambasted Trump in a few episodes. Episodes about Biden or anyone in his administration...

No. You're the simpleton who doesn't understand social satire. Imagine a grown man not smart enough to "get" cartoon humor. And not even smart enough to keep that shame to himself.

They absolutely brutalize Hollywood political activists.
Streisand, Reiner, Lucas, Rosie, on and on.

And where the term Streisand Effect came from.

I thought that was from her suing Google to take her house off Google maps. So the one blacked out little square in Malibu was Streisands's house.

You are trying to hard at conflating humor regardless of content and the delivery of it as a cartoon. No one says its content is funny or not. Being it is a cartoon and an adult watching and debating the need to watch it is is pretty much both proves my position and humorous in itself.

They’ve definitely made fun of Trump more than any other presidents, but Trump also gives SP’s writers a lot of material to work with.

Even if they didn’t poke fun directly at Biden, they’ve taken more than a fair share of shots at other left wing figures and mocked woke issues in general. South Park is one of the few comedy shows left that mocks all sides.

If your "position" is that you are a simpleton then the fact that you are this obssessed with a show that you don't watch certainly proves it. The South Park humor and insight is miles above your head. Just watch something else. I feel sure there are Taylor Swift videos on YouTube. They might be easier for you to follow. Her boyfriend is mean to her. That's all you'll need to know to keep up. You can do it, man.

Yep, the part where they acknowledge that America went way too far left and now we are going way too far right in a short amount of time. Most people like things more in the middle.

I'm interested in seeing if they continuously roll out the Trump character throughout season or if it'll be a sparsely used character.

The seasons in which they made Garrison portray Trump and kept going back to it got kind of stale and boring.

If this is classic South Park, Matt and Trey go right at the leftists celebrating the Trump portrayal and make them look like fools next episode.

Which makes the lack of a Biden focus, for even a single episode, more noteworthy. This becomes even more true when you look at how the majority of the media actively engaged in narrative control for him and his administration by purposely trying to either outright oppose anyone attempting to expose his lessening mental faculties or completely ignoring it.

This was an American President who was so out of it that staff members were using his autopen to sign things he had no clue about and was briefed on only after-the-fact so he could possibly stumble his way through a pre-selected question. If that doesn't deserve... no, need parody-ing (to give a loud, public voice to the absurdity of it that straight news or punditry doesn't seem able to do), I don't know what does.

South Park used to be my favorite show but ever since they stopped making fun of the left and only making fun of Trump for the last 10 years it's gotten very stale.

Even the PC episodes were really just a vehicle to bash Trump.

You can tell a bunch of liberal Karen's are writing the show now. They stopped making fun of everyone years ago and now it's just a way to bash Trump.

It's sad but all good things come to an end.
