You have to assume US command has the “clearer picture” at this point.
If we are sending planes into Iran, we’re initiating a war phase.
We would hit back with missiles if we were responding.

I'm pretty sure the men and women in the Situation Room have a much clearer picture than what we have. If things escalates, it obviously means that it isn't a continuation.

The problem is the media will continue to pretend the previous rocket attacks never happened and this is a new escalation they will blame Trump for starting.

Chinese and Russia ain’t pushing their chips in for a bunch of dirty Persians who they know are the aggressor. China could back way down tomorrow, give a ton of trade concessions and be chummy with us again to get oil. Russia ain’t fricking with us. Real nations don’t want a war between two legit powers.
