With all the new cases being symptomatic, our mortality rate will take 7-10 days to catch up to the new cases. It’s good to see it dropping now, but it’s going to go back up.

You had mentioned you are tracking CFR compared to mortality. Boatshoes has a thread today where he posted he is doing his own calculations of CFR and it’s slowly dropping?

You're probably right, but some of these cases may not be "new" cases. It's such an inexact science and all of these numbers we're getting have a ton of asterisks by them.

NY is testing more per capita than any other country or place in the US so of course they account for the majority of cases. I'd be curious to know if the death rate is higher there.

There’s really know ay for anyone to come up with a date certain at this point. There are too many variables and uncertainty regarding the

They are about .8 percent vs national 1.2.
Assuming that holds, that means on equivalent testing they would still be 10k cases and way over anyone else.
