25 years ago when the veterans were having trouble funding the parade, then civilian Donald Trump, made a generous donation to keep it going. (seriously tho, why do vets have to pay for the parade?)
President Trump respects veterans who have served this country and knows that if asked, many of these heroes will serve again.
