Thank you for addressing the points I was making and in an understanding and positive manner.

In my opinion the saddest part of all is about 98 percent of our US population are good upstanding citizens.

That leaves Both parties scrambling in $$$, and extreme views to win the vote.

No.... i voted Trump, stayed up to watch the landslide and celebrate but hes lost me. That does not mean im going to vote D, but this term has been a massive disappointment..still sending $$$ to Ukraine, doge was a bust, prices still sky high, and his recent behavior especially this childish arse plaques is just embarassing.

This isnt the same dude/platform that campaigned

You do know other republicans ran and will run for POTUS, right?

If his base abandons him, a Democrat isn't tagged in. Elections still happen.

It was never there.

Trump has never been as cartoonishly evil as the left likes to paint him, but he's also never been the Captain America caricature some of you bought.

Can't get anywhere if we don't talk baw! Wish more people would do that.

And yes, I agree. The extreme minority causing the majority to suffer (not just politically if you get what I mean wink wink )

But to that point, I think 95% of Americans can and should start with this, "what is our goal?" To make America better. We can fundamentally agree (hopefully) that at the end of the day, that is what we want. And WHATEVER the issue is, how do we get there the quickest and most effective way? The issue is now, the political landscape has become so polarizing that the main goal of making our country better, doesn't even matter. The color of your party does and it is more damning to switch than the height of the Bloods and Crips. It's the modern day gang war.

Until we start trying to understand one another, nothing will change and will only get worse

Honestly, I don't WANT to 'understand' why someone is promoting pedo actions as normal and men twerking for kids onstage while outrageously dressed in sexually suggestive fetish attire. I simply want to see them eliminated from society and relegated back into the shadows of the sleazy underworld of criminals, drugs, prostitution and perversions. I don't need to understand. Politicians and a political party that tries to normalize their abhorrent lifestyles are not something to 'understand'. It's something to eliminate from our political landscape.

Yeah that is NOT what I was trying to say at all. That's why I said 95% want what is best, and those are the ones that can be "reasoned" with. People that you are referring to are pedophiles and need to be exterminated from Earth with extreme prejudice. I was more aiming at the majority that has been pitted against one another so that the people you are referring to can operate with impunity.

I believe that we have allowed the "Broken Window" Theory and we are witnessing it in real time. We have arrived at the Abandoned House and are approaching (if we aren't there yet) at the Trap House. Only answer is to demolish it and rebuild from the foundation in my opinion. Those types of people have no place in society and shouldn't be able to benefit from my tax dollars to keep them housed and alive while they live their miserable lives. Punch their ticket to Hell early.

Thats Trump. He's not different, youre just getting fatigued. Once you realize he's a modern day snake oil salesmen, it all falls in place.

He's 100% hype for the future, and most of it is pie in the sky. Utopianism is more dangerous than "doing nothing."
