Source close to Barack Obama tells me: “When the moment is right and when he feels he can have maximum impact, the country will be hearing more from him.” Source notes Obama has spoken to Senator Sanders “several times” over the past few weeks.

Biden and Sanders team have been having rolling conversations for a month, and President Obama spoke with both men as well in the process.

One interesting note on timing: Sanders waited until after WI vote in part to help drive Dem turnout for state Supreme Court race

Bill Clinton has been strangely absent of any mention in all this too. The putsch is brewing...

Bill don’t want nothing to do with nothing.

But Hillary was tweeting up a storm early on in this thing and appears to have gone rather quiet of late.

Why would sanders do a favor for Obama? I can see him taking DNC money again to step aside, or something like that, but I really doubt that sanders has any sort of positive relationship with Obama. Obama was basically a #neversanders, and the crazy old communist trashed the Obama admin as much as he could without completely pissing off the black vote

This is like having Joe Montana trying to tutor Johnny Manziel. There’s only so much that can be done - Biden is a very flawed candidate.

Sanders is a fraud and he's deep state just like Obama, the Clintons, and Biden.

For all of his flaws, I think Bill Clinton joined the ranks of most former presidents and acted with decorum, especially considering his wife was so desperately trying to keep her WH hopes alive.

Obama has been exactly what I expected.

Which means when the crisis is over and he can try to take credit for saving everyone and criticize President Trump for killing people.

Sanders is a fraud, but he is not deep state. If he was, he might actually have a friend or two in the senate

Except that Joe Montana is an all time great. This would be more like Nathan Peterman tutoring Johnny Manziel.

That MFer did enough damage over 8 years. Tell him to prepare his home for rising oceans and stay the hell out.

Seriously, Obama is Joe Montana? Ryan Leaf is more appropriate, IMHO.

Probably because of the ill advised "America is #1" tweet
