So embarrassing for you

What’s truly embarrassing is watching a low-information voter and unapologetic cheerleader for bloated spending bills cosplay as a “conservative” bravely defending America from “kommies” who dare question any aspect of Trump’s policies. Your reasoning skills aren’t just cartoonish — they’re stick-figure level caricatures of logical thought.
Every time someone offers the mildest criticism of Trump, you respond like a malfunctioning chatbot programmed with a limited range of phrases: “kommie!” “Joo-hater!” “nazi!” That isn’t debate, it’s performance art.
When Donald Trump jokingly bragged that he could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody live on t.v. without losing support, he wasn’t testing a theory — he was describing you. At some point, you might consider developing an argument that doesn’t rely entirely on situational outrage and blind loyalty.
Until then, the only thing you’re “conserving” on this forum is your refusal to think. And the only service you are providing to this board is comic relief.

We were a MUCH different country then. Now we have a third of the population as foreigners and the left has been completely taken over by Marxists.

And why has the country experienced this ever escalating leftist tilt? It is because the Welfare/Warfare State are flip sides of the same coin.
The Vietnam and Iraq Wars showed us a definitive pattern: progressives solidify their power at home through welfare policies while “conservatives” focus on military hegemony abroad. The Welfare/Warfare state isn’t a separate species but instead is a dualistic organism.
Welfare keeps the masses content while warfare keeps the masses in control. We should never forget that George W. Bush’s Medicare Part D plan saw the largest capture of the healthcare market by the government since Medicare’s creation in 1965.
Otto von Bismarck, the architect of the modern welfare state, understood this well: “Give the people butter, and they’ll carry the gun.” Who knew the old “iron chancellor” was such a softie?

It might be a good time to remind ourselves that George H.W. Bush had a Gallup approval rating of over 85% after Desert Storm. This was the highest approval rating of any sitting President up till that time.
And then proceeded to lose to Bill Clinton some 18 months later. Aided by Ross Perot siphoning a lot of votes.

You obviously aren’t a conservative, if by “conservative” you mean someone who supports the principles of limited government and personal liberty. On that point, we certainly agree.
Your modus operandi on this forum is simply to aim for the kneecaps of anyone who dares criticize Trump, and in doing so, you’ve clearly aligned yourself with leftist tactics. Instead of arguing in favor of the principles of freedom, liberty and individual rights, you have the mindset of a flaming progressive who is ruled by pure emotion.
Instead of debating ideas, you rely on name-calling and vilification. Your mindset resembles that of the very progressive ideologues you claim to despise: obsessed with tribal politics, playing identity politics and choosing loyalty to a leader over any semblance of intellectual consistency or real conviction.
It’s hard to take someone seriously when they abandon any set of consistent principles in favor of blind loyalty to a single figurehead. You indeed are the PB equivalent of an unthinking brute in a brownshirt.
Instead of debating ideas, you rely on name-calling and vilification. That is why it is so laughable to see you call other posters “kommies!” or “nazis!” when they dare criticize Trump.
You obviously have no clue what these terms mean other than they are epithets used to demonize people who disagree with you. You indeed fully embody the very progressive mindset that you so readily apply to others.
In short, you are a hypocritical clown and a moron. And a pathetic embarrassment to anyone who values rational thought.

Yet that and a $5 dollar bill won’t even get you a cup of coffee in today’s economy. Even assuming yet another Middle Eastern regime change operation defies history and delivers what was promised, Trump’s fanboys would do well to remember that political winds can shift in an instant, especially in a down economy.
I agree with you but the only people saying this is a down economy is the Dems and their talking points. My daughter (pics on file) moved to NYC a couple yrs ago and all I hear is "affordability" crap. She lives there by choice and not by necessity. She complained that stuff was so expensive (yet she has been overseas on vacation 4 times in the last 16 months) but I told her that prices are what they are because people are paying them. If people could not pay them then prices would come down.
I had the dishonor of working for a Charles Koch company and even though I did not like it or him he did have some financial wisdoms. One of which is "the value of something is what people are willing to pay for it... not what you think it is or what you have invested in it."
