Pres. Biden Congratulates Air Force for their part in defending Israel - and it's weird

The White House released video of a phone call from President Biden to the fighter squadron that defended Israel during the Iranian attack. Good for him for doing so. While some of his comments are off the cuff, the core of his congratulatory remarks appear to be read off of a note card. Are we at the point that even a congratulatory phone call can't be made without note cards?

It drives me crazy how he always says, “I’m not just saying that” or “I’m not joking”. You’re the freaking President, people don’t think you’re fricking with them when you talk to them.

Whenever someone feels the need to randomly insert, “I’m not just saying that, I really mean it” into a sentence, it almost always means that they’re so accustomed to lying that telling the truth feels weird

I get the same feeling like I had when a used car salesman said "...and I'm not lying to you, either."
Biden is an unfunny joke - always has been - lowest intellect ever seen at a national level. Too dumb to know how dumb he is.
