She apparently has no concept of population demographics

Doesn't congress need permission from the Supreme Court to pack the Supreme Court?
Nope
Nope. The number of Justices are not set forth in the Constitution. Their number is set by statute.

Agenda 2030, folks. It's still on track. If it doesn't cause a civil war, we're doomed. If it does cause a civil war, we're doomed. A lot to look forward to, methinks.

To increase the size of the Supreme Court, you need a majority vote from both the Senate and the House and the signature of the president. If the president vetoes the bill it goes back to Congress, and needs 2/3 vote in both the Senate and the House to override his veto. I don't see it happening. It would never get the support from either side. That is a good thing.

I kind of hope they do. It’s obvious we’re gonna have to dance at some point in time, we might as well roll asap.

They might mess with the filibuster, as both parties have in the past, but they won’t pack the court. They did not come close to having the numbers to do that the last time they were in power, and they won’t next time. There are a lot of democrats who oppose that and are quiet about it because they don’t want to invite primary challenges.

Chances are better they'll try to make DC the 51st state.

Maybe. I’d consider taking up arms if they did that, especially if they combined it with packing SCOTUS.

The United States of America is not nor has ever been a democracy.
Absolutely this! We have multiple layers of protections from being a Democracy. The FAILSAFE protection is the Constitution. It’s there explicitly to protect individual rights…absolutely vital. Then we have a Republic set up as another brilliant layer of protection from a Democracy. These people who spew the Democracy pablum irritate the shite out of me!

The same filibuster that she is currently cheering on?

Her own party is using the filibuster right now.
Of course, it is the party of Jim Crow.
