I’m not saying it’s impossible we will see this anywhere but we haven’t see it yet.
What do you mean we haven’t seen it yet? It started with construction material in Q1.

Im sure raising prices is just the thing they need to get more sales.
I wonder why they are talking about raising prices...and not just raising prices

I guess if youre vague enough, you will never really be wrong.

Procter & Gamble announced the price increase during a call after releasing the corporation’s fiscal fourth-quarter figures, according to the Associated Press.
During the call, P&G shared that the tariffs implemented by President Trump will increase its costs by about $1 billion before taxes during fiscal year 2026.
P&G said it will raise prices on about a quarter of its products in August, with increases expected to be in the mid-single-digit range.

This entire concept that muh tariffs will just be passed to the consumers is just fricking stupid if you think about it logically for a second. I think we can all agree, no matter what you think of Trump, he is not a stupid man. These trade deals he has worked out I guarantee have stipulations making this a violation of the deal, resulting in massive retaliatory tariffs or just complete shut off from our market.
You truly cannot be serious with this take.

Yeah as long as you don't need clothes, laundry detergent, toothpaste, soap, shoes, a vehicle, or anything made with plastic, you never have to pay tariffs. Who needs all those cuck things anyway?

Exactly! Cherry picking data to frame a narrative is just bad partisan propaganda. It’s no different than a kid in school- if you don’t count those 10 homework assignments that I didn’t turn in, and those 2 tests I missed, I have an “A” in this class.
Excluding those items LOWERS inflation. If you want to paint some narrative against Trump, you have to include the 10 missed homework assignments. They’re excluded for “core” inflation and the number goes down as a result. If you’re trying to look at the whole picture, like you and the other guy advocate, then the narrative is WORSE.

Not one of those items have gone up for me

Same argument Democrats push for raising corporate taxes.

Since the last balanced budget(2001) the GOP has had 8 years of control of both Congress and Presidency. How many of those years did we have a balanced budget?

So cute when a “tax the rich” liberal pretends to care about corporate taxes. Your only real conviction is you hate Trump.

The prices on those things skyrocketed ...before tariffs. With all that free trade...why didnt the prices go down?!?!?

We've already established that the GOP is only as conservative as its voters allow. Theyre getting re-elected at a 90-95% clip.
