I didn’t watch and have no idea what he said, but judging by the jubilation here and the Fukushima level melt at democratic underground, I can tell that Our President has won the day!

He was smart to make the payroll tax deal a deferral rather than a remission. He also said that if re-elected, he will make the payroll tax deferral permanent....which gives people incentive to vote for him so they won't have to pay a big chunk of deferred payroll tax at one sitting. (Insinuated that Biden would not make it permanent...which is probably true.) Fricking brilliant imo.

The only way this Press conference could have been better is if he would back Biden into a corner about debates. He should have said no one knows what Sleepy Joe stands for so I would like to debate him in front of the American people and we should reserve the right to ask each other questions...(ie: don't let the Democrats slip Joe the questions like CNN did Hillary.)
