Just know I am LOVING all of this chaos and in-fighting.
The MAGA and AF purity tests that develop are going to be so lit.

I’m not defending her. If she can’t back up her accusations she should be ridiculed and ignored.
There’s a difference however between disagreeing with someone and calling for them to be arrested by a foreign nation and jailed to shut them up particularly when that foreign nation is the one that’s pushing for limiting of speech that’s inconvenient to them.
You can’t call for sending your political opponents to prison without cause and not be totalitarian, which is exactly what happened in this thread.
At that point we just have two post democratic groups winding up for a kinetic civil war which is exactly what I’m still hoping to avoid.

I think that is one element, but the other element is that anyone below 40 that is even slightly conservative, for the most part, has zero trust in any institution.
That is what has caused so much animosity. Republicans are expecting everyone to just get in line on Iran because the experts say it’s what we have to do. The days of blind trust towards a person or an institution because of their credentials is dead. Skepticism about everything is only going to rise.
There is good and bad that comes with that obviously.

Just look at the "Ted Cruz is attacking Catholics" thread. Or the "Tucker is getting prosecuted by the CIA" stuff. It's a competition of who can lie and create the craziest, most dot-connected, question-asking conspiracy theory. And this isn't even talking about the Candace Owens types who may have left reality living in that lie for so long.
