POTUS trying to get this in a police report so we can prosecute her arse when it all comes unraveling. I like it!
ETA: See below reply for clarification. Could be either produce one from the past or attempt to file one for the past... appears produce one from the past is probably more accurate with statute of limitations and all.

The point is to get a sworn statement with specifics such as a date and location.
And all speculation to this point is that Kavanaugh has an ironclad alibi because he wasn’t in Maryland at the time for some reason, making it impossible to be him.

He wouldn’t ask this without already knowing she doesn’t have one. This would have come up in one of the background checks that were done on Kav.

If Kav were named, it would have turned up in a background check on him.
If it were filed by Ford and Kavanaugh weren’t name in it, it wouldn’t have surfaced before the allegation made last week.
And the point I’m getting at is that there should be proof of a date and location which is inconvenient for her.

The beauty of this is that she told her story in a way that eliminates the statute of limitations.
Sexual assault + strangulation equals third degree assault in Maryland. It’s a felony and there’s no statute of limitations.
Christine Blasey could walk into a Maryland police station today and file a report.
(Not sure of the law when the event happened. But that’s the law today.)

Then this is about getting her story on paper. She wants Kav to go first so she can change her story up. If it is on a police report then she can’t change it after Kav.
