Who even knows if that’s actually the pope anymore. Looks like a cyborg.

shite, he's in worse shape than Benedict...who quit because he was too old and feeble. Will be hilarious if he outlives Francis.

The more physical pain one posseses the less mental acuity one possesses. He needs to move on and give up the throne.

Until Benedict, they always stayed on until death. JP II was basically a vegetable his last few years.

He isn't Catholic, so I agree

Seems like his days are coming to an end soon. I hope he repents and puts his trust in Christ alone by faith alone for his salvation.

It's actually happened twice. The first time was like 900 years ago. But yeah, they typically die in office.

Anyone over 50 knows it’s tough getting started after sitting or lying in bed. Once he hits his stride he’ll be jitterbugging like a pro.

We'll have to see who Lynn Forester selects for the next Pope.

According to Malachi there won't be another Pope.

I wonder which way the Cardinals will go with the next pope? I am catholic myself and I do not know another catholic that has actually agreed with Pope Francis' worldly views.

As a Catholic, I have also had a very difficult time with Pope Francis and his views. In fact, it he has actually negatively impact my view of the Catholic Church. I have talked to my priest about this numerous times trying to remember that our faith is about the Holy Trinity, but I struggle.

I have no problem with a Pope staying until he dies, especially Pope John Paul II, I felt when I looked at him, I was seeing the Holy Spirit. I feel so blessed to have lived in a time where he was our Holy Father.

Who do we want as the next pope? I’ve read in the past that a cardinal from Baltimore, a black guy, might be in the running next time. I know nothing about him, though it’d be cool to have an American pope. I guess.

Don’t allow one single man to shake your faith.

There have been false popes and scandals before. That’s always going to be the case when humans are involved. The Church left behind by Christ perseveres thru it all.
