Ok let’s judge the Roman church by its fruit.
Hospitals, universities, the scientific method was invented by a Catholic priest , moder genetics invented by a Catholic priest.etc etc Infinitum. Not to mention WESTERN CIVILIZATION.

And…. Are you saying philanthropic deeds somehow offsets unbiblical church practices?

I know the spiritual leader of the RCC is leading his church away from God instead of towards God. Lots of other Catholics know this too.
I know this also.
This pope is doing satans bidding. Sowing confusion.
“Peter doesn’t have the keys to heaven or hell”
Well don’t take my word.
Mathew 16:19-21
“I give you the keys to heaven”

No
I’m saying you are ignorant.

St. Catherine of Siena is not the Pope. This Pope is acting in a heretical manner.
I bring her up as a model critic of Papal leadership (during the Avignon scandal).
quote:
Regarding your reference to 'our Protestant Brothers'
I bring them up because their potential confusion is often cited as a reason for Pope bashing. It frequently appears to me that the loudest and angriest of the Pope's detractors do much in their own way to confuse the issue. They certainly don't have to live up to the office of the Pope, but they are called to evangelize just as the Pope is. The fascination with trumpeting media lies to score points against a clumsily worded pronouncement by the Pope is sad.
Take Taylor Marshall for example. He does some really, really good stuff when he is explaining parts of the faith or engaging in apologetics and defending the Faith against Prot or Orthodox. Where he (and others) lose me is when they flirt with the disingenuous and grab onto media headlines for clicks or rage.
You lump me in with Luther? Absurd. Just as absurd as your pronunciation that I am lecturing you on your obligations to THIS Pope. I am not lecturing you on your obligation to Francis alone. I am saying what you already know to be true for all Popes: you submit to their office, address their perceived shortcomings in prayer, and stand fast in your faith knowing that no gaurantee or mandate was lifted because a Francis is Pope.
You deny him to be Catholic and Christian. If you deny that he is Pope there is a whole different conversation not worth having.

Well it’s ignorant to stay in a church simply for tradition sake when the leader of said church is leading the flock astray

If the "leader" of your church is promoting and endorsing sins that Jesus Christ denounced, are you a Christian? Do you follow the teachings of Christ or do you follow a man who contradicts the teachings of Christ?
Probably, one of the bravest men that ever lived, saw the sway from biblical teachings and nailed them to the church door.......a few billion people know ask Jesus for forgiveness instead of a man behind a curtain.

It’s a question all Christians should ask

I don’t stay for tradition. I stay because it is the Church Christ founded. Historical fact. All other denominations were founded by men.
Also I follow 2000 years of church teaching. The reason this pope is so hated is because everyone knows he is an imposter who is causing division by design.

The single best decision i have ever made was leaving the catholic church.

Jesus founded Christianity. Man established denominations.
Jesus didn’t tell Nicodemus he had to join a church to see the kingdom of God, he told him he had to be born again.

We must all follow Christ to the best of our ability. I do not condemn anyone for being Protestant. Jesus will judge us all individually. We should unite against the dark forces at work in this world. If we all agree that Jesus is Lord and Christ is King then let us pray for peace and unity under Jesus Christ

Your heart is in the right place.
I will pray for you that you will actually read the Bible and understand it.
Catholicism is not a denomination sweet summer child.

I’m an ex-Catholic, I’ve read the Bible through multiple times, read and study it often and am familiar with Catholic doctrine and traditions.
And yes,” Catholic” simply means Universal, but the Roman Catholic brand is indeed a denomination

sola scriptura is false clown.
When you deviate from scripture you get things like prayer to saints and/or Mary, the immaculate conception, transubstantiation, indulgences, and papal authority.

Indeed. But it’s pointless to debate them on this. They’ll simply say those extra-biblical practices were passed down by oral tradition

Indulgences are in the book of maccabees, transsubstatiation is just a fancy way of agreeing with Jesus Christ when he says you must eat my body and drink my blood. Papal authority is obvious in Mathew ( even your church has a leader) the USA has a leader. Every organization on earth has a leader.
And as to Mary. The Ark contained the Ten Commandments Aaron’s staff and the presence of god.
Mary is the new ark that contained God. She is the woman spoke of in Genesis that would crush the head of the serpent. She is the woman clothed with the sun in revelation.
She is quoted in Luke saying “ all generations shall call me blessed”
She is the one the angel addressed and said “ Hail Mary full of grace”
She is the mother of the king (Jesus). It would behoove you to show her some respect.
