The answer requires either a "yes" or "no" answer.

I say no.

Let's see how everyone answers this question.

I don't care for lawyers, but it would be a pretty big mess if they didn't exist at all.

Nation of laws (supposedly) so follow the law or get into trouble with said law.

Your response is disqualified because the only correct answer is either "yes" or "no".

Try again.

Yes or no?

With no context whatsoever? No. But nothing is ever treated like that in any scenario so this thread/poll is completely pointless.

You're an idiot. It's you're. Not youre.

If you call someone an idiot would please have someone read your work before you click submit?

Damn.

Yes.

All sinners benefit from the illegal act of killing an innocent man in Jesus Christ. If He wasn't a victim that was put to death without cause, we would all be lost.

That's my spin on the unqualified question.

First, it's "you're" not "youre".

Second, I made it clear that I wanted the answer to the question to be either a "yes" or "no".

Why are you afraid to answer the question with either a "yes" or "no"?

Do what you want. You are the one calling a poster an idiot.

Leave no doubt. That's up to you.

I was trying to see what everyone's opinion is without giving specific context but since you want some context, I will give you some.

One of the guiding principles of the Rule of Law is that no one should benefit from the illegal act of another person.

Do you agree with that guiding principle of the Rule of Law?

Yes or No?

No.

But I can think of a scenario. Lots of people won 50 to 100 bucks betting against the Chicago White Sox when they threw the World Series. They should get to keep their money. Especially since they're all dead.

In other words, you are saying if a thief steals your car then gives your car to his son before the thief is caught, you believe the son should keep your car because the son wasn't the one who stole your car and didn't know his father stole the car.

Well since you added the caveat I change my vote to no

If the illegal act someone commits causes them to get fired and for me to get promoted into their job is that the same thing?

What about if someone commits murder, but the murder victim was an organ donor and the organ saved another person's life?
