I think that you are wrong on this 1. The Dems are in this 1 for the long haul and understand that this is a war that will be waged 1 battle at a time. They will accept this and keep digging until eventually they get what they want

History is best predictor of the future., and recent political history tells us 1 of 2 things will happen.

1. Just like with the DACA stuff recently, Trump and some republicans will make concessions and attempt to make a deal, but the dems will demand all or nothing and they will filibuster anything that doesn’t give them 99.82% of they want.

2. It will be a repeat of the 2013 Gang of 8 bill, the Senate will pass some bullshite bill, but the House will not take it up.

The only way I see a gun control bill heading to POTUS’s desk is if it contains an “assault weapons” ban, or if the dems cave and settle for the 3 things that POTUS listed in his tweet. I could be wrong, but I do not see either of those 2 things happening. However, I could be wrong, and I will be pissed if I am because I do not agree with the age requirement and the mental health requirement.
