Unions are nothing but democratic quid pro quo’s.
If Unions go, reform can happen.

I'll trade you police unions for entitlements that create part of the problems in the hoods for blacks and the "snitches get stitches" mindset.

Deal?

Who would apply to be a cop in a major city if they couldn’t get some form of legal insurance from a union?

You think the Atlanta cop who’s being indicted for doing his job can afford an attorney on retainer?

Unions were meant for good back when they started out for the miners.

They have now evolved into loop holes to fill politicians pockets. I think, in most cities, you are required to join the union which it isn’t free.

Unions also spend $$$ defending the bad cops. They are double edged sword. Plus if any reform is proposed the Union will fight it.

Police unions are the last independent working class unions. This whole thing has been orchestrated as a means to destroy them.

You’re wrong.

And what’s a qui pro quo?

Police unions have participated in their own bad press.

Work with the unions to bring about reform. Much easier than getting rid of the unions.

That’s why people are listening to the idea of changing them.

Can we get rid of teach unions as well?

They are also part of the even larger problem.

The police unions are why the left is attacking them so much.

Update your software, this isn't 1975. The left hates unions. They are all in on corporate GloboHomo.

Just get rid of all public unions. If they walk out, they are easily replaced.

Unions had their impact on helping earlier generations be mistreated, but they’re long overdue for a good shakedown.

And? You’re giving us truisms and acting as if they’re profound.

They’re very not profound. That’s why I was surprised you needed it explained to you.

And watch police officers leave in droves. Police Unions make sure liberal mayors with an agenda cant terminate select races of officers because they simply dont like their skin tone.

The general public needs to focus more on being law abiding citizens and less on "ways to make policing do gooder"

Being a police officer is one of the most demanding and dangerous jobs there is. It would be worse without their unions to make life manageable for them.

Very not?

Like I said, they’re truisms. Obvious. No one needs them to be explained. And they’re not profound at all. The fact that you appear to believe they may be somewhat says a lot.

That's like asking the Sheriffs to end the war on drugs. Good luck with that.
