Some one kills one of my kids, I won’t kill them I will kill their entire family so they have to live with it...

If the kid was fleeing and the father just shot him in the back or something and the father's life wasn't in danger at that moment or he wasn't in immediate fear of death or bodily harm...than yeah.
The only justification of killing another human being is self-defense. And that means an immediate threat to your life or serious bodily injury that you can't escape from.
Not revenge killing. This is street Death Wish justice but for people to say no jury would convict...if the shooter was fleeing the scene and was no threat to the father...every jury would be bound to convict based on the law...otherwise why have a court?
If the perp was still an aggressor and pointing a gun at the father that's another story.
But you can't not convict based on personal feelings of the rightousness of street justice. We have laws. Jury is bound to follow the definition of them...and what is legal self-defense and what is not.

This is the attitude I like to see. Killing them would be the easy way out. Killing off a few of their loved ones will make them live with it for the rest of their life and will actually teach a lesson no judge ever could.
