It takes something like 2 years for the vetting process here.
And if they don't feel like they can get enough info from the person's home country because of a lack of records or whatever, the person doesn't get in.

There is nothing that is especially thoughtful or constructive about his post. Yes, a couple of percentage points could be sourced from other factors. But getting lost in the weeds to that extent doesn't do enough to override the obvious qualitative conclusion derived from the article, assuming it is accurately reporting the truth.

It’s entirely possible, but without the data from previous years, then we can't use a share of a demographic in one year to show that the demographic was the cause of the increase from the previous year.
So without more data it is literally impossible to actual make any determination one way or the other.

Why does it matter? ~80% of rapes in London are caused by immigrants from the Middle East, according to the article. We know that population is exploding there. Yes we can say that there are likely other factors. If you want to wank off to the specific crime data to try to back into some unexplained residual, go for it. Obviously they are driving the bulk of it.
