No.
But it makes them unsympathetic.

Its called skepticism due to the timing. Seems awfully suspicious that these 40 year old allegations come out a few weeks before the election. Roy Moore's name has been in the news for the past 6-7 months in regards to his candidacy. Why didn't the accusers come forward during the Alabama Republican primary? Or while Moore was a judge? Or even while he was the chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court?

Moore came out and denied the allegations, unlike the Hollywood abusers who've either apologized or been silent. I'm not saying Moore's definitely innocent, just that I have doubts based on the timing of 40 year old accusations coming out.

Remember how a little over a week ago you all were all ecstatic that this was a “liberal” and “leftist Hollywood” issue. Multiple posters warned that this has nothing to do with party affiliation. Just lol at how defensive some of you are now getting over Roy Moore.

As soon as you realize there isn’t a liberal v conservative war, but a crazies v sane war you’ll see that all liberals aren’t the enemy.

Totally agreed. But the war should focus on the culture that creates this.... religion.

Catholic church... Mormons.... Jehovahs Witnesses.... Muslims... whatever Roy Moore is.. They all harbor pedophiles and predators. And now they are using lines like: "Well, Joseph married Mary when she was a teenager."

Moore is the guy that wants the 10 Commandments everywhere.

This is how it is harbored:

---A patriarchal worldview.
---A feeling of divine empowerment.. overly self-righteous.... judgmental
---Sexually repressed.
---The belief that forgiveness is but a confession or a prayer away.
---Access to children who accept authority and expect instruction.
---The unquestioning trust of the "flock" in its clergy, or those self-righteous leaders within community
---Cult-like congregants’ aversion to learning the distasteful truth about a religious figurehead, or champion of "religious rights."
---Reluctance to go to the police / press charges / start a scandal (“Roy Moore is an honorable man fighting for Christianity" ".... Our church also does so much good”).
---Fear to go to the police. "Roy is a judge"

You cannot discount news just because it comes at an inopportune time. Since the pussy tape was released, women have been coming out left and right against men on the left and on the right. It's pervading in both parties. We are in a moment now where women are gaining enough courage to come out with it. If you're going to argue "timing", you cannot deny the time when are now in.

It's almost like people are new to politics, like this is the first time a bomb was dropped on a politician right before an election.

Okay fair enough, what are the odds in your mind these allegations are true?

Hollywood is degenerate so accusations against them are believable. Accusations from a biased fake newspaper against a republican candidate right before an election just smells fishy, doubly so considering they just tried to do the same thing to Our President one year ago.

I fixed your tagline:

"Trump recently claimed he is a "fighter" for the American people. Sgt. La David T. Johnson couldn't be reached for comment."

"Trump recently said calling the families of victims is the hardest part of his job... 'Calling them is very, very hard. The hardest ever. Like..no one does it, but I do. I called... What's his name...?.... and expressed condolences. It was a nice conversation. Obama never did those.'"

Dems tried to do this EXACT frickING THING to Trump last year.

This is what Dems do because they can't win on their ideas fair and square. Stop playing obtuse.

you stated that it is bullshite because it would have came since he has been in the public life all those years, but we are seeing the exact same thing with Hollywood right now

perhaps all the #metoo stuff going on empowered them? I don't know
