you interpretated this:

quote:
It’s very easy and comfortable for people who aren’t around “a certain demographic” to cast judgment from places of privilege but y’all just don’t know what some people are up against. And as much as this board loves to deny that systemic issues exist, the obstacles are systemic and they are not addressed by message board lectures about personal responsibility.

to mean "I am a defender of BLM"?

You used "places of privilege" in earnest. You are absolutely a defender of BLM. The only question is whether or not you'll publicly admit it.

You've confessed to worse on here, so why not come clean there, too?

Buckle up. Here comes the deflection... ignoring... strawman.. or subject change.

I said repeatedly that I don’t know what his charges or convictions are. Knowing that won’t help anyone or anything in any way. You just want to clutch your pearls some more.

this is how every child gets a seat. did your AI assistant teach you about OneApp?

Do you have no idea how your own school district works? Does your husband do this for you?
Something seems to be wrong with you. You mock things that are correct.

quote:

Does my child get sibling priority during Open Enrollment? Does my child get geographic priority if we live close to the school we’re interested in?
No. Open Enrollment is a first-come, first-served enrollment process. As soon as you pick a school your student is enrolled in that school. Priorities are only considered in the Main Round application process.

The school I want to go to says there are no available seats for Open Enrollment, should I wait?
If your student does not have a placement for the upcoming school year, we recommend using the form in the Parent Portal to enroll in a school with an available seat. You can use the form to transfer a total of three times during the Open Enrollment period from May 13, 2026 - September 4, 2026. Kindergarten through 12 grade is mandatory for students in Louisiana, so it’s best to choose a school with an available seat so your child is ready to start the school year in August. The Seat Availability report will stay up to date if you want to keep an eye on the availability of your preferred school.

quote:

Literally every child there is there because they won the lottery.

Wow misdirection, every child in your kids school won the lottery that means that there were no open enrollment options...
Because
quote:

Open Enrollment is a first-come, first-served enrollment process. As soon as you pick a school your student is enrolled in that school. Priorities are only considered in the Main Round application process.

You also admit that your children had multiple unfair advantages over other children, zip code, distance, sibling, IEP....
quote:

People swore I lived in Section 8 housing before you decided I'm actually a socialite. I never bothered to correct the Section 8 accusations, either.

Yes, they also thought you were pro life, that was also a lie.

quote:

My kids have IEPs for speech, but my daughter is doing the gifted testing right now.

Hmmm 2 kids for speech... and that helped them get in?
Any advantage to continue inequality it seems.
quote:

You don't understand how school enrollment works here. That's by design. It's a very intentionally fuzzy process. I'm not a proponent of charter schools and this is one of the reasons why.

The web site is quite simple, you also seem to have taken full advantage of every weighting mechanism possible.
That is the goal right ensure ones children live an a more inequal world... on the right side.
quote:

You're saying this as if you know the name of the school my kids attend

You just said every kid at their school got in via the lottery...
That would mean no slots during open enrollment...
Maybe you could ask your husband about this...

quote:

Like every other open enrollment school in the city, it's majority black.

Have to unwrap this.
1. Aren't all public schools in New Orelans open enrollment? Just without slots?
2. There seem to be public charter schools like Willow/Franklin that are not majority black
3. Who said majority black = low income, oh yea... you.

I specifically said that you are taking advantage of the weighting to get into better schools.
If the best schools are majority black and low income then you are definitely taking a slot from a low income black child.

And all the parents you know at that school have housekeepers...

You get why you are a liar right?

quote:

You have such an obsession with me and my personal finances. I don't get it. Like i said, the board consensus was that I relied on government assistance until you came along and started spouting off stuff like this.

... because thats what you wanted them to believe, you fill your words with half truths.

But then all of a sudden you own a house, have a housekeeper 401k, and you then angrily deny the very conclusions about your own words...

A 50 billion dollar plus grift.

Now... what were you saying about :

quote:

It’s just devastating.

So NOW what do you want us to do? Lay it out and get it over with. They flushed 50 plus billion.. this "certain demographic" gets hiring preferences... college admissions preferences... a much larger share of per capita government assistance... their own national organizations... a congressional caucus..... preferential voting redistricting... a complete pass on billions of dollars in destruction... safe spaces... DEI preaching....hell.. the Rooney rule.

And with that, can you even say "all lives matter" around them without scorn?

So WTF you want?

My kids faked unintelligibility as toddlers so they could have a leg up in getting into the public school of my choice. I’m finally busted.

If people want to think I’m poor, fine. If you want to think I’m rich, fine.

I don’t care how much money you have.

You are an egotistical, emotional, hypocrite of epic proportions.

You sit here and insult others then do the very same thing that you insult others for doing. You still can’t say the words “I was wrong” which is absolutely insane and a hallmark of a complete and total sociopath.

It is absolutely insane. You seriously are still sitting here on your high horse acting like you are gods gift to the world while simultaneously refusing to respond to any post that calls you out on your bullshite.

You are a complete and total joke of a human being.

So all we can take from this is that they got into your school of choice.

But you knew that getting them tested... would help their chances... though the biggest help was your house.

Some people I am sure would pay for a private evaluation to ensure such things.

Still this does take away two slots that would have gone to disadvantaged kids.

Knowing your kids will have a number of systematic advantages anyway... and didnt need a top school...

By the way how's the felon who was only arrested for driving things you never asked him about...

My son started speech at 18 months. Chronic ear infections impacted his ability to hear which in turn impacted his ability to produce sounds.

My daughter started speech therapy at 4 weeks old. Who knew? And yes, it was pricey but that’s what you do for your kids. Tethered oral tissue. Then she went through chronic ear infections. Her first set of tubes were supposed to be inserted in March of 2020. What a mess.

Finally got one that isn’t a lemon. Third baby is chatty and has only had one ear infection in 17 months. Nothing sweeter than hearing him say “mama mama mama”

Anyway, we’re clearly gaming the system or whatever.

Curious what this means absent actual language... was it like exercises or something for tongue-tie? Genuine question- nothing to do with the thread or personality conflicts.

I have no idea why you keep coming at me about BLM. I don’t think I’ve ever posted anything about BLM before today.

Oh look, here’s a post from last year of me asking you why you keep trying to make another thread about BLM LINK

It now seems like there is a small possibility that a random child not in your zip code can get into your children's school, and there is a minor chance that your first child would have not gotten into that school.
Narax, you're turning this into a Rand Paul - Markwayne Mullin moment. It gets way too personal when you start into the disabilities a family or mom has to deal with. If you've not been there yourself, you really should drop it.

The absolute hell does BLM have to do with the entire paragraph above that quoted question??

The two parts above that question is your OP quote of:
quote:

It’s just devastating. It’s very easy and comfortable for people who aren’t around “a certain demographic” to cast judgment from places of privilege but y’all just don’t know what some people are up against. This\/ was in response to it.

Now. Concentrate and try again.
