In these studies, how do they account for career criminals not giving a shite about/not pursuing education or jobs?

What do you mean? If the person is convicted of another crime, that would constitute recidivism.

The OP is about Americans investing mental and emotional energy to discuss topics that we are all extremely far removed from while ignoring issues that impact our. Own communities.

We all know that the only issues you care about are ones that deal with you.

It's baffling that you think some dude who refuses to get his license, one that you won't life a finger personally to help... is more important than a war going on where our best are serving their nation in harms way.

But noo....
You pretending you can make your daughter smarter with violin lessons so she can deal with the byzantine, labyrinthine office of motor vehicles...

Because how could someone born without white privilege possibly understand what line to get in, or how to answer a multiple choice test (Because he obviously already knows how to drive).

I didn’t make any statements about importance. You can’t do anything about any war anywhere. Neither can I. We have way more ability to impact what goes in our communities but often we’d rather bicker about things over which we have no control and cannot influence in any meaningful way.

I assume your condemnation of me not doing enough to help someone locally is a testament to your efforts helping the war efforts in Iran? How are you lifting a finger to contribute to war efforts in Iran?

Tick tock.

Tick tock.

Tick tock.

Bet you continue to do what you always do and ignore this post calling you out even though you belittled and accused others of doing that very thing in this very thread.

Can you go 24 hours without being a hypocrite?

Correct

Jails and prisons produce smarter criminals

Not smarter, but wiser. There is a difference in this case.

YOU produced a smarter (by your own admission) criminal (by your own notation).

True.

Not that I am against some getting their GED. I’m most in favor of it actually.

But how many jobs will that GED lead to versus someone without a GED?

Frankly, his time would have been better allocated in learning a trade.

I hope you realize that you cannot add 4Crazies posts to your other SFP account. You better switch back to keep those numbers up.

Pretty simple.

You point out that "studies have demonstrated" that employment is the factor that most impacts and predicts recidivism and education is #2. I'm asking how, in these studies, they account for the criminal with zero interest in a job or education.

In other words, "studies have demonstrated that employment is the factor that most impacts recidivism" means zero if the studies don't account for the career criminal that isn't interested in employment.

One needs a high school diploma or GED to apply to trade school.

Liberals:
They don't have the knowledge of how it works.
These types of people don't in areas with easy access to DMV's or places to get identification.
You have to be able to pay an internet service provider.

An old video but a reminder that if you stick a mic in front of a progressive, their true feelings will come out. It's why Libs of TikTok is so popular. It just shines a light on how deranged people like 4cubbies are by simply posting what they say. Mirror Mirror on the wall who is the most racist of them all.

These recidivism studies aren’t measuring motivation for not working. You aren’t making any sense.

People with jobs commit far fewer crimes than people without jobs.

Wrong again buttercup.

https://www.educationconnection.com/resources/trade-schools-that-dont-require-a-high-school-diploma-or-ged/

quote:

What Kind of Trade Schools Do Not Require a GED or High School Diploma?

There are several types of trade schools that may not require a high school diploma or GED. These types of trade schools include:

Community Colleges — Many community colleges offer trade school programs. Students can attend a community college, yet pursue a trade. There are several community colleges across the country that do not require a high school diploma or GED. Community colleges may offer a variety of trade school programs. These programs may include culinary, electrical, plumbing or others.

Beauty Schools — Some beauty schools do not require students to have a high school diploma or GED. Beauty schools prepare students to pursue a career in cosmetology. These hands-on learning programs allow students to learn the art and science of styling hair. They also may have makeup application programs.

Massage Schools — There are massage therapy schools that do not require students to have a high school diploma or GED. At a massage therapy school, students learn how to apply massage techniques. They may work in a salon, or in a clinical setting. Massage therapy schools offer hands-on lessons as well as online learning opportunities.

Nursing Assistant Schools — Anyone who wants to work in the medical field but does not have a high school diploma or GED could apply to a nursing assistant school. These trade schools train students to become certified nursing assistants, or CNAs. CNAs help nurses perform critical tasks throughout the day. They could work directly with patients. It is a great option for students who are passionate about medicine.

People with felony convictions generally aren’t eligible to work in the medical field.

To become a barber or licensed hairdresser in Louisiana, one needs a high school degree.
