Damn bro...I'm on your side and usually upvote all your posts but the thread here is causing everyone to get down votes so I have to down vote you here to stay consistent! Lol

I only had 1 to give you.

Most of my down and upvotes are intentional.

Ocasionally I will up or downvote something accidentally on my phone while scrolling.

I would challenge that. I think there are a lot of posts that are not worthy of 'intellectual response' - and the only appropriate response is = 'not worth the effort to confront'

I use my downvotes for that kind of post - from either direction.

When I see a bullshite statement, I weigh in my mind if it is worth the time an effort to make an 'intellectual response' - In most cases it is not. There is no sense presenting the same truth to the same tired inanity that so often appears here.

If it is egregious enough, I waste one of my precious downvotes on it - otherwise I just ignore it and let it pass.

Sort of like how I treat dogshit on the sidewalk.

Good luck getting the truth out of these guys.

Some admit, too long, did not read, downvoted poster.

They won't solve any problems, they are bound to old failed ideas.

I never down vote a post simply because I disagree with the sentiment of the post.

It's has to be something so stupid that it offends billions of years of human cerebral evolution for me to register a down vote.
