No, you call me racist because you clearly don’t have an understanding of text book racism

The believe that it’s not ok for white ppl to use any variation of the N word regardless of the made up
exclusion rule is not racist ….to say that it’s different for the Black community when they use the N word is not racist

Hypocritical? At it’s base ….yes

Double standard? At it’s base? Yes

Racist? Naw man

I can't even.

True or false.

The DECIDING FACTOR on if you can say this word is race.

You have made it clear that skin color matters when it comes to what people are allowed to do and not do. Even though you want to limit it to use of a word, that’s still racist. If you don’t think taking such a position is racist, then give me another example of skin color restricting what we allow people to do or not do, but is not considered racist.

Thanks for the polite dialogue!

I understand what you are saying but maybe i can explain it differently-

1) ppl aren’t limited to what they say or don’t say- if white ppl want to use the N word …that’s on them

2) when a white person uses the N word today (in the 21st) …they have a knowledge that the word is taboo and has historically been an insult to Black people …with that knowledge, they still use it (in any variations) it carries the full impact of the historical context …that part is the offense.

3) When Black ppl use the N word …it doesn’t carry the same taboo and its implied context isn’t transferable

4) i know it’s a double standard and hypocritical but because of historical context ….it’s not a racist belief

You really are systemic in your Black and white

Take the time to capitalize one race…. But can’t take the time to type out the word people

No. It is literally racist to say it’s okay for one race to do or say something but another race cannot.

So…your argument is that the Black community have to stop using the N word….so…one race is telling another race what they can or can’t say? Is that racist too??

It’s good for all or it’s good for none. I don’t care which.

But to pick and choose which race can do or say something and saying other races cannot do or say that thing…

Is….

Guess what it is buddy?

It’s racist.

I am pretty sure he is just fricking with us at this point. No one and I mean no one can be this dumb. I say this after spending a considerable amount of time on the OT.

TL;DR - i didn’t pick up on TBird’s hints that he was Black when I was discussing the N word

Because I didn't give you any hints. I just goaded you into continuing to say stupid shite because you assumed I was white (your words, not mine).

quote:

i kept telling him to sit with a Black person on how it impacts that person (lived experience and all) - bc i wasn’t the one to discuss it

The only reason I responded to you at all was because you were up in that thread "discussing" it. Like a blackspert.

quote:

I was wrongly assuming that he wasn’t Black…i was wrong for that - the board says it because I was racist

Goddamn, you still somehow missed the point.

I gave the same rebuttals in that thread to your N-word usage arguments as other posters. YOU decided to dismiss all others but mine...and only AFTER it was revealed that I am melanin-enhanced. And then only because you'd spoken directly to me (as you'd quickly dismissed the fact that Thomas Sowell would likely disagree with your takes).

Redeem the historical context …that will always be the hang up ….redeem the historical context.

You and I didn’t call ppl the N word …white slave owners/ racist white people did…but we are held to that context when we use that word

I’m not picking or choosing who can or can’t- the historical context has determined who can’t …the rest is completely subjective- but good luck telling the Black community in mass that they can’t use the N word either …thatll be fun to watch - easy to tell a bunch of white dudes that everyone should be able to say it or nobody but alternate universe this discussion lol

How in the blue frick are you THIS addlepated?

Like...you have to TRY to be this stupid. I don't care how many times your mother dropped you on your head. She still couldn't dream of claiming responsibility for this level of ignorance you exhibit.

Why do you keep ignoring the other half of the discussion, where a black man used the word to belittle another black man?

No, plenty of whites don't have a problem with black people using it, and plenty of black people do have an issue with other black people using it.

Why do you keep making generalized... You know what, scratch that question. I already know the answer.

Or -

I tucked my tail in between my legs because i am not about to tell you about your lived experience- and subsequently backed off the debate with you because the cards had been reset.

I haven’t backed off the historical context for white ppl to use it. I’d still argue with you on that

The “blackspert” ( as you call it ) came in when ppl excused an ignorant or racist girl from consequences because some football player said the N word…as if that absolved the girl -

Nothing had been reset. You chose to reveal your own bigotry by lending my skin power credence instead of my words. Like I said, my rebuttals were no different than several that had already been made.

Then you learned nothing, and look doubly stupid.

Nope, I dubbed you the "blackspert" once you thought you could browbeat me about black people's experiences. Before you realized I'm black. You played yourself, and earned the moniker.

Congratulations.
