They are a different breed, but the group I’m exposed to are believers in American Exceptionalism, value military service (we’ve been at war their entire lives) and don’t trust anything they hear from the MSM or politicians...so, they can’t be all bad.

Our debt problems really began with FDR, that’s no secret. But deficit spending didn’t really become acceptable until the mid 60s and early 70s. Now, it is expected. It will be incumbent on my generation (millennials) to fix the problems of past generations before we bankrupt ourselves. I’m not sure if we’re up to it, but we are nicknamed the “surprise people”, so maybe there is hope.
