That is for stimulation prior to sexual act, not the act itself.

So Marriage is solely for the purpose of procreating?

Yes, procreation with another human chosen to procreate with and raise children. Without children what is marriage? The promise to be faithful and share your shite? That's a joke

So people who don't want children and those unable to have children, shouldn't get married according to your logic ....

ts the right that is resisting it. if they just said ok, and let it die. It would die. or at least the chatter would slow down.

Yes but then the left would find some other ridiculous social issue to push in order to gain votes. What would it be? Polygamy? Incest? Bestiality?

Then the argument for those would be "if the right just said ok, it would die" and eventually we'd have a completely immoral, decadent society.

I didn't start this thread to have a rehash of the usual same sex marriage debate.

I just wanted to point out that in a recent Pew poll the support for same sex marriage has dropped which some supporters of same sex marriage at this site said would never happen.

If you want to have the usual same sex marriage debate then start your own thread about it.

People that don't want to get married are "business couples". This means it makes sense to them to get married be it financially or for whatever reason. A couple that doesn't want children have to be a little on the self absorbed side. Couples that can't have children got married with the hopes of one day having children and are just not able to.

ETA: By the way, financially could fall under sharing insurance policies for just one example.

Not true, there are TONS of couples that knew in advance of marriage that they couldn't have kids and got married bc they loved each other and wanted to spend their lives together.

So it's ok for that reason? A second ago you said the only reason was to procreate

The usual lefty deny, deny, deny tactic.

Well, I've seen it. It was the "as the baby boomers die off the numbers of young people who support same sex marriage will continue to grow" crowd.

More young people than baby boomers must have died recently.

If you hijack this thread to argue your pro same sex marriage crap then it just proves you can't handle the truth that this poll points out.

You really are a fricking moron... Too bad I didn't hijack your shite thread, one of your fellow anti-gay marriage people did.

Maybe you should go back to your thread about Jameis and continue trying to argue that he deserved a public hearing for his punishment.... Oh wait, you got laughed out of that thread too

Bye-bye Boomers. You hogged your time on the stage well. I grew up on your music and it is and was awesome. But it is time for your generation to shuffle off into history. You are doing more harm than good now.

Hold onto that margin of error straw, dude.

That's what someone always says when a poll shows people are a few percentage points against their belief.
