Sorry Petey…this won’t distract from the complete and total idiotic decision you participated in with the Iran situation.

If you limp wristed soys got in a much pushback for an attempted republican house members' assassination, three attempted presidential assassinations, a conservative speaker's assassination, AND people celebrating the anniversary of that speaker's assassination anniversary as you are going to put into this.... you MAY have had a leg to stand on.

Oh I also forgot the celebration of an actual assassination of a corporate CEO.

Any way to bet on war Pete being the next president? Guy has all the makings of a sociopath but has a unique ability to pretend he's a Christian

That doesn't really interest me. Curious as to why it took so long but not really interested in watching a firing squad.

For a lot of things, I am iffy on the death penalty but not for this and I love the fact that it will be public. I will do everything I can to make popcorn and watch it.

None of us know what his spiritual life is like. I don't like to conjecture on things like that.

I know he lends himself as a try hard but we probably need that right now.

Is it true that this guy is in a wheelchair? That will make for some wild optics.

And then we remember that he slayed 13 defenseless members of the US Military in the name of Allah and forget it.

Yes

He was paralyzed from the waist down when shot to stop his murder spree.

Why do we think this kind of thing would deter another mass shooter? I don’t understand the deterrent argument in this case.

Mass shooters usually kill themselves or get killed by LEOs (by a firing squad essentially). Or rot in jail for life which is arguably worse.

What is the message being sent exactly? I’m not even really saying I’m against it, I just don’t see the logic that this flavor of capital punishment being any more of a deterrent as any other.

The American public doesn’t have a long memory on a lot, but needlessly taking money out of their pocket sticks for a while…especially when the high costs continue.

Not saying he doesn't deserve to die for what he did, just saying that shooting a crippled man for the whole nation to see isn't the sort of image the American people tend to see.
