Agree, I think there is 0% chance of a conviction... No way with such a politicized indictment that you won't have Repubs on the jury who refuse to vote yes no matter what.

This is another piece of evidence that shows everyone that the smaller the minority group (in this case, the lonely liberals in the middle of a very red state), the louder they are and more outrageous their actions.

They should have removed his makeup, got him hammered, and popped him in the eye before the picture so it would have been a legit mugshot.
And a noogie of course, for the hair.

That Cheshire Cat grin.
He knows this is going to work out just fine for him.
Texas dems are so stupid to give him this stage.

So far, other prominent Republicans have rallied to Perry's defense.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, the head of the Republican Governor's Association and another potential 2016 presidential candidate, issued a statement Monday declaring his "complete faith and confidence" in Perry's "honesty and integrity."
And former Texas congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul on Monday called Perry's indictment "a joke."

honestly i think the fact that he's a loud and proud aggie has more to do with it than the fact that he's a republican.

Perry should embrace it.
This helps him.
Right, he now has more street creed than Obama could ever dream of having.

This is going to help him with the base, because he's fighting back.
This is nothing more than abuse of power by the Dems,
Said earlier this week, they've tried this with Walker in WI, Delay and Hutchinson in TX, Ted Stevens in AK. Unfortunately for Stevens, he was vindicated posthumously, after losing his seat, and dying in a plane crash.

Ya, well if he screwed a sheep in the Alamo aggie-style, the Travis Co Demwits have overplayed their had so badly such that Texas might elect Perry as dictator if the election were held tomorrow.
Dems laugh about how stupid and backwards TX is.

The Guv said, as he was preparing to be booked, "I'm here to (1) defend the rule of law and to (2) defend the Constitution." As usual he couldn't remember #3, that he was under indictment and would have been arrested if he hadn't.
