This is one of the most idiotic talking points re: ACB. People are voting on who takes office in January 2021. I don’t give a flying fk if people decided to rush out and vote for that months in advance.

If that had any weight, some left leaning state need only start allowing votes years in advance.

You are right it truly is the dumbest reason to oppose ACB. Shows you the dems have nothing.

My main issue with the "people should have a voice" argument is that they did already. They had a voice in 2016.

Last I checked it's a 4-year term. Maybe that's changed, but we're still within that bracketed timeline.

That’s the risk voters take by voting early, I guess. If your mind might be changed by something like this, why vote early?

it is pretty funny...

It's like saying, The Florida Gators have already started selling tickets for a sell out on Saturday...

that doesn't mean Coach O should NOT proceed forward in
removing the current problems with his defense

And more importantly, in 2018 when they sent back the GOP Senate. This is going through PRECISELY because of the will of the American people.

By that logic, shouldn't the House & Senate also stop meeting and deciding on policy until January? Should we stop trying to work on another COVID relief plan/stimulus until the voters are able to "vote on it" and decide who they want to determine what goes in the plan?

And plus they may have voted but that vote doesn’t count till Nov 3. When the election takes place. Their voice they placed 4 years ago is still going on. Dumbasses.

That is their problem ... or prerogative.

People had already "started voting" prior to NBC dropping the Billy Bush Tape. People had already "started voting" prior to the FBI locating Emails on Huma's Wiener. People had already "started voting" prior to the FBI lying about checking them all.

Many voted for Trump in 2016 in part because he would be appointing justices to the SCOTUS, someone needs to ask the Dems in the senate why the desires of these voters no longer matter, only those voting in the next election.
