Morals amongst insurance corporations never existed. Ive dealt with these evil entities for a long time. Greed and evil are terms that come to mind.

Not saying this guys murder was in anyway justified. UHC is a huge pain in the arse. About 15 years ago we started refusing to accept UHC assignments.

Off the top of my head:
1. What are the demographics of the Obamacare users of Kaiser vs UHC?

2. What are the denial rates for workplace plans?

Forgive me if I am skeptical of brain raped Redditards and uneducated poors who use Obamacare.

Where is number 3 regarding the algorithmic denial of claims?

They werent even reading people’s claims man . As pro free market capitalistic as I am, thats crossing a line into a level of psychopathy that I can’t bear to support.

Populism is an almost perfect form of democracy. Do right by your constituents you have a long happy career, but cause them grief, harm, or maybe even discomfort, you get dealt with real quick. I have no issue with it.

Great, so we can stop pretending that the CEO was "greedy" or evil. He's exactly like you and the person I initially responded to.

Now do you need finger paints to understand that point?

If you truly pro free maket, you'd be asking "why do people buy it/take it?" Tons of providers have stopped taking UHC (see poster above)

I went to a seminar on dealing with health care insurance companies. One former claims agent said that come Friday afternoon everyone cleared their desks of pending claims into the trash.

Because this isnt just buying and selling widgets. They’re blindly rejecting claims that affect people’s health and even their lives.

That's greed.

It literally isn't.

Greed would be taking far more than you need while other people are suffering. Caring about your family first and foremost isn't greed. It's survival.

Absolutely. Pursuing self interest was the cornerstone of right wing economics and all these people seem to have forgotten.

Like all good collectivists, they assume this man should work for the public good, and not his own interests.

If you want control, you need to pay for it. As long as you're dependent, you will not have the control you seek. I learned that as a teenager.

Are you willing to kill a CEO for it? Are you willing to pay your own bills for it?

If they’re working their way from the bottom up, Medica CEO should probably keep head on swivel.
