the protestant church in america is dying for two reasons, first it's embrace of the sin of homosexuality, and second it's jump over the broomstick approach to marriage. by the way the united states is the only country on earth that the protestant church really ever mattered. so for the last 30 years we've seen this collection of what i call protestant magic beans that are supposed to right the ship that is the decline of the protestant church. prayer in schools, posting the 10 commandments. the idea being that if these kids aren't getting religion at home, let's give it to them in school.
the good news is friend, that in 100 years the protestant church in america will be dead and we catholics will be picking another pope and in the scope of history the protestant reformation will be seen as much ado about nothing!
now go and sin no more child!

Knock it off, you.
This thread is about some legislators in PA suggesting that Government proclaims "A Day for the Bible." This is a political topic and thread to debate whether our legislators should do this as an official Government action.
This is NOT the place for you to try to be picking fights with people, so please knock it off.
You KNOW that not everybody says the Rosary, so, why would you provoke people on here about it? Anyway, if you are REALLY a Catholic, you'd be praying the Liturgy of the Hours.
Look up: Divine Office, Breviary and Liturgy of the Hours. This if for advanced Catholics like you.
In the meantime, knock it off with the jabs and provocations around here. I hope the admins warn you. You are trying to pick a fight by being provocative and that is quite Sinful. You would know that if you were a Catholic.
PS I downvoted your crappy post because IMHO it's sinful because you are trying to start a fight.

the protestant church in america is dying for two reasons
My church and other Reformed congregations are growing right now, taking advantage of the same tide that the RCC and EOC are taking advantage of. Protestantism isn’t being rejected; liberalism is being rejected. There are many conservative, orthodox Protestant denominations that are growing.
quote:Again, that isn’t a “Protestant” issue but a liberalism issue. Most Protestant churches are not giving in to that sinful nonsense but are remaining true to what God teaches in His word, the Scriptures.
first it's embrace of the sin of homosexuality, and second it's jump over the broomstick approach to marriage.
quote:Seriously? Read up on the Reformation. It started in Europe and covered much of Germany, England, Scotland, and other places.
by the way the united states is the only country on earth that the protestant church really ever mattered.
quote:It sounds like you have no idea what you are talking about.

better idea, let's just pray the rosary! that'd be ok wouldn't it?
Huh...I wonder which of our founding fathers prayed the rosary when they prayed over the creation of our nation...

As long as it isn't done in the federal level I don't care.
